I am seriously considering a combiner as my isolator seems to have given
up the farm (no charging on the house battery). I located one that
interests my love for gadgets.

The three bank version appeals in that I still have a battery in the
generator compartment (deep cycle, large) that I would love to use as a
second house battery to power the rear fuse panel and to hookup to the
a/b solenoid to allow them to work together when boondocking.

I can always do the jumper cable thing if the starting battery is dead.

Any suggestions as to which one to use?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a switch that will do that for me. Havent
made up my mind yet on the combiner/isolator.

Ron,

I've been considering the Heart Interface(www.heartinterface.com) Pathmaker
for a combiner. Looks like a neat unit, but I'm still undecided too.

Dont think I will get to it before the Colorado trip. Back is still out and I
havent gotten the coach to Ken Frey yet to do the transmission leak, alignment
and anything else I can afford.

Yep - 100amp/3bank. $164 at Performance Yacht:

Might be some better prices elsewhere, but that's an indication.
