Bob Fukumoto; Sorry to hear you're selling your coach, but noticed you had
added an electronic cruise control.

Mind telling which model, how it worked and how much?

I'm looking to replace my original cruise and would appreciate some first
hand input.

ps: If it doesn't sell right away, take her on another trip (your wife).
Maybe she'll change her mind if all goes well on the second trip.

Dave,

I pulled my paperwork and it is a Audiovox electronic cruise control. I
don't have a price as I received it as a gift and I don't have a model
number. The control unit is an inch square box that I placed on the little
shelf on the plastic panel under the driver side window. It has one knob -
push it forward to turn on, left to set the cruise and right to accelerate
or resume. It doesn't have a memory after a full stop is made.

Installation was easy (I watched it being installed). A contol box is
installed under the drivers seat. It has two wires attached to a device
that hooks to a short speedometer cable that attaches to the tranmission and
the existing speedometer cable is then attached to that unit. the wire is
then run from that box to power and the one inch square control unit. I'm
sure anyone could install it.

Worked great on my 2,700 mile trip last summer.

Hope this helps.

Dave,
The model is a "CCS-100" Audiovox unit. He is right, it is a very simple
unit to install, trouble shoot if needed & works great. It is the same
unit I have made an install manual for the GMC for.

The kit looks like and erector set when opened, thats why I felt a manual
laying out exactly how to modify the kit to fit our coach was needed.

If you're tired of replacing transducers and want more features (resume &
up/down speed control) this kit is for you!

You can pick up the unit at Pep Boys for about $100, call me if you want
the manual on installation into the GMC. 1-877-275-4462
