Gene,
It depends on how much of a purist you are when replacing parts on your
coach. The clearance lights cost almost 13.00 apiece. I found a set of
lights in J.C. Whitney that cost 20.00 for a set of 5. Part
for the amber and part for the red. A more modern style but
they look good. If you must have the original style plan on spending
more than 150.00 plus misc. parts. When I check mine last summer
because they were not working, 9 of 10 were rusted and corroded that
they were junk. Depends on how much you want to spend.

The price I quoted was from Bushkirk/Rush RV for the Genuine replacement
Light assemblies. If you can find them for less, more power to ya!

Yep...they are the same light in the rear compartments but with
(originally) white lenses.

These clearance lights, IMHO, are rather dated. I like some of the newer
lights. You can find them in JC Whitney's catalog. Someone on the net
recently wrote that they were arranging to have red lenses made for newer
style rear lights.

When I replace the rest of my lights I am thinking of filling the holes
on the roof and installing the front lights right on the sun visor. Maybe
put the rear lights on some sort of spoiler.

Any comments, anybody?
