I have compiled the list of GMC owners that have e-mailed me requesting
Stainless Steel brakeline kits from classic tubes. Please review the
information and send me any additions, deletions or corrections. Hope I
have not missed anyone! I was told that the kit included lines and couplers,
and would be dropped shipped from their factory to each individual. Is there
anything else that is needed? I am hearing talk about unions and couplers???
When will everybody be ready to buy?

Tom,

Please count me in for the SS Lines for my '73 230. Please note,
however, that although the 23 is 3 feet shorter than the 26, the
wheelbase and hence the brake lines, are NOT 3 feet shorter. The 26 has
a longer overhang in back than the 23 does.

Thanks Tom,
I'm not yet ready to buy parts, as the GMC motorhomes are a new
experience for me. At this point, I know very little about them.

I'm looking for an old GMC, ragged out, "fixer upper" to restore.

SS lines sounds like a good idea to me, but what are the specific
advantages?

Theres a small car lot in West Point Ky that has two that need a lot of
TLC.

Tim the advantage is that you only replace them once.

Please add me if you have not already. 1 set if $250, 3 sets if $200 or
less.

Thanks

Paul,

I knew the overhang was bigger on the 26, but I did not know how much.

Thanks for the clarification. I was worried that the brake lines would
be 36 inches shorter, instead of the proper length (20 inches shorter by
your stats).
