I want to change over to using Synthetic oil and the question is how much is
needed for the transmission. Any suggestions would be appreciated

The book list 4 qts for a drain/refill of the transmission and 12 qts for a
complete overhaul. Since the change will be done at a RV service center, how
much oil should I purchase for them?

The final drive list 4 pts of EP 80W-90 so that's straight forward. The
Cinnabar gears were changed 25K ago.

Chuck,

I just changed my tranny fluid/filter for the second time since I got the
coach, On the first time I just dropped the pan cleaned and reinstalled IIRC
it took about 4-5qts., When I changed to the Ragusa pan I drained pan and
let drain for about 4 days before buttoning everything up, I needed about
6-8qts. I also am switching to sin oil, But since I got blend oil alittle
cheaper, and I now have a pan drain plug. Thought I'd use the blend first,
take care of some leaks that I have then switch to full sin oil On my next
change.
