GM makes a vacuum canister that is used on it's medium duty
truck(tiltmaster series) with the 5.7 liter gas engine. I had one
installed on my 78 Kingsley and it works like a champ. It is mounted on
the plywood floor, engine side, under the drivers seat. All you need is
some extra vacuum hose and the following GM part numbers.
Vacuum Tank #94110309
Valve Kit #18022219
"T" connector for the hoses
This vacuum tank is much, much larger than you will find on most
vehicles and provides a good reserve supply of vacuum. Plus it is OEM
which we all like to use when possible.

In addition for those that need to grease the rear bogies, we all know
that the weight needs to be relieved from the tires in order for grease
the bogies properly. Get a 4 foot 4 by 4 and a 4 foot 2 by 4. cut into
one foot lengths. Use pressure treated lumber because it is harder.
Screw and glue the 4 by 4's together so that you have a one foot long 4
by 8. Next, glue and screw the 2 by 4 on to 4 by 8. Place under the
center of the bogies(may have to raise them a bit) and release the air
from the bags. Grease away. It works great. The reason for all the
gluing and screwing is that it keeps the coach at the perfect height
especially for storage and it keeps all the air pressure off the bags
while stored which will make them last longer.
