Tom - years ago I had a 1977 Jeep Wagoneer. If I recall, the brake
shoes and the other brake parts (except for the drum because of the 8
lugs on the GMC) for the rear GMC are identical to those used on the
1977 Jeep Wagoneer. You might check under those parts at an Auto
Parts shop. American Motors made the Jeep at that time and they used
parts from many different manufacturers.
