Brake part needed

PMFJI, but are these (NAPA WEB462) original size
replacements or the wider (2-3/4") size?

Also, is the NAPA 2245 spring kit the correct one for
original or wide shoes, or does that number work for both?

Tom,

I seem to remember that these are unique to the GMC and that Cinnabar
stocks them. I don't know of any other source.

Hi Tom

I replaced mine with Wagner 462 type from NAPA, the NAPA number is WEB462
(no rivets). They must be fairly popular as they were in stock at the
neighbourhood NAPA store.

I have not got the brakes finished yet but the shoes look the same as the
old ones and they went back on as expected and the drums fit over them
properly. I took your advice and used a new spring kit.

All of the drums on the coach were missing balance weights. You may want to
check yours for proper balance.

The WEB462 are 2 inch shoes, I don't know the spring kit number, the garbage
collector is too efficient so the boxes are gone. I just gave the guy the
GMC number and he produced a Bendix spring kit.
