THANKS! I thought I was the only one running DOT 5 in my GMC.
I have run DOT 5 for years in my cars and trucks----never a problem.
Same here Arch. I've used it exclusively on resto projects simply
because I've never mastered the art of installing and bleeding a system
without some spillage, which really looks bad on frame off restos. I've
never had a problem with DOT 5 brake fluid and it's nice to paint and
other surfaces that DOT 3 has a tendency to remove.
