Larry it is not a difficult job. I would order the Jume 1996 issue from the
GMC Motorhome News from Cinnabar at 1-800-720-2227. It shows you how to do
it step by step with pictures. If you follow it you will be an expert after
the first time.

Considering the amount of our investment, the shortage of shops having the
right tool to service our wheel bearings, and the amount of money spent on
far less critical items, owning and carrying a $200 set of pullers makes as
much sense as having a jack & lug wrench. There are thousands of shops with
the tools to change a tire, but what are the chances of finding one who has
the tools to properly service these bearings when they need it.

I don't even care if they won't last forever. If their life expectancy were
only 25 uses, that would support 2 coaches for over 300,000. How many
GMCers put off servicing these critical bearings because the tools are so
rare. If everybody had a set in their tool box, bearings would be more
likely to get serviced more regularly and failures would be practically
non-existant. Owning a set of these pullers should be at the top of many
lists.

Tom W., please put me down for a set and let me know when they're ready.
Also, please accept my gratitude for spearheading this effort.
