Pearls Battery trays

The forum probably has many options for rebuilding the battery storage areas . sharing,, this is what I did with what I have

Noticed when my auto battery died ,and I Do not know how I ended like that, as the OEM tray all though rust, ratty and appeared un touched was off level by 1/ ¼ exposing the high side battery cell .

So it was time for a new tray with more room for the 2 batteries and some additional storage..

Put some base rails down of different sizes to level the tray when the coach parked ..Base

made from ¾ pressure treated with 2 coats of epoxy. Nylon hold down straps, end stops etc..

using self tapping screws to attach to the metal base

Now the real problem was getting my old body to lift the batteries . I could not do

Had my granddaughter help. Still was quite a grunt !! so I made a bracket that held 3 to one block and tackle positioned to lift a battery of the ground

Also had upgraded the rear battery placed the unit on ½ plastic tray which slides nicely on the new ¾ ply base allowing the battery move for easy maintenance

Excuse me while I digress the Thorly headers are a work of art not to mention the upgrade in performance

Additional I have the Toyota headlamp up grade retrofitted with LID at 6000k /7600 lumens/144watt. Do not drive much at nite but when I do I want to see

Me too. However, even a hydraulic motorcycle lift will work. One is now supporting a 175lb LiPO4 battery and the (2) orange one can lift even more. I chose ones that will lift 30" or more so I can also get them in and out of a suv. Not much to pay to save my back

That battery is 175 lbs but the lift can do 350 lb.
