Just finished installing a 14"x14" Fantastic Skylight/Fan (4000 Model)
in the bathroom replacing the 6" OEM fan. I was concerned about sealing
to the slightly rounding of the roof as well as the placement to avoid
roof ribs and interior ceiling curves. FWIIW, everything fit perfectly
but with no room to spare (note that I have a dry bath model but it
should work on wet bath models too). It makes all the difference in the
world -- makes the bathroom seem twice as large. Replaced the OEM
galley roof fan at the same time with a Fantastic 5000. These fans
really move the air and are quiet.
Now I have a new 6" bath fan and an original galley 14x14 fan/skylight
to pass along to anyone who needs them.
