Emory are you saying that they checked the ball joints when the coach was up
in the air with the hubs off?

Sorry to be so late with this post, I was out of the country for 3
weeks.
Did you mean to say that you replaced the 5/16 bolts with 3/8 bolts ?
A later post seemed to say that.
BTW, for future reference, it is not necessary to remove the knuckle to
remove a drive shaft. The details are listed in the 01/98 issue of
GMCMH. It works.

Both sides can be taken out without removing the knuckles. If no one else
answers I would be happy to describe how to do it. I am in a hurry for a
meeting. have to run.
