We've decided to get rid of the original Zip Dee awnings (both sides) on
our '76 Royale. We don't use them, and would rather have a cleaner look to
the coach.
They work fine, and are in good shape (although the orange & white stripe
fabric needs cleaning). Replacemment fabric is still available from Zip Dee.
I'll give 'em away to who ever is willing to remove them. All I ask is that
they be carefull taking them off and provide chromed brass screws to fill
the mounting holes. We'd be happy to "deliver" them to the Albuquerque
rally in October.
Regarding our heater, can anyone tell me if anyone will be at the rally who
could disassemble our dash heater/ac to replace the foam rubber door
gaskets? The nearest person I can find who knows how to fix the constant
draft problem (Bob Lamey) is 150 miles away.
