Paul,

The cruise control you're installing (installed already?), is this the one
Jim recommends/suggests?

Does it do away with the transducer gizzmo that's on the rear of the engine?
(Well not engine, but firewall)

I'm assuming you still need it as the transducer also used as junction box
for speedo cable but is that all it'll be used for. Is the stock cruise
control transducer used for anything else on the rig?

Cruise control replacement is next on my list and with the digital dash the
speedo cable to the dash is already replaced by a speed sensor (2 wire :-)
hooked to the speedo cable output of the cruise control transducer and I
could just as easily mount it ahead of it and get rid of that jungle and
potential of vacuum leaks.

Heinz:

Just found out this one never made it to the net due to wrong address
(didn't include the "s" before the ".org".

No it isn't the one Jim (Bounds) uses. His, from my discussions with him
has a smaller control module, although it's the same brand.

The one I purchased does away with the original transducer. After Myrtle
Beach, I hope to install it.

Besides installing the speed pick-up cable, its about 8" long, to the
transmission output, I'm told that you disconnect the
speedometer-to-transducer cable and re-connect it to the pick-up.
