Sounds like your having fun...........keep it up................
but what you are describing sounds to me like it might
be loss of fuel pressure when you have too much fun
for too long.
Don't you have an electric fuel pump hooked to a
primer button?
If so easy to find out if loss of fuel pressure is the problem.
I suspect that if on the next long pull you hold that button
down you won't have those 2 surges
