Richard
The secret is in the approach ! Drawing on every ounce of potential
salesmanship, a guy must convince the missus that the concept of
a 'parts' vehicle, from a-arms to transmission, is so beneficial , both
in terms of monies saved and instant availability of parts, that it
must have been her idea in the first place.
Naturally, great promises are made that it will be disassembled
and virtually disappear within a week or two at the most. Hardly
worth discussing the unsightlyness of it all
My '76 Toronado is sitting on the property line, and has been since
three years. After the initial flack, things settled down and it doesn't
come up again unless I really screw up
My local GMC buddy, Richard is in the process of working his
charms to get a '74 Eldorado (501) into the driveway.
Once you get 'em home the worst is over
Good luck fellows. Remember you're never have to fight the dog for
a place to sleep......do ya see the size of those Toro back seats
Behaving myself in NS
