Hi Greg

I got a price from Costco on Michelin XPS tires for $150 Can ($103US). Mounting and balancing is
about @20 each.

I was quoted $188Can ($130US) for G159s mounted and balanced with new steel valve stems.

I actually bought 7 Michelin XPS from a tire dealer. I told him I was looking for an excuse not to
buy the tires from Costco and told him the price I would pay. He came down $20 per tire.

Greg, try the Tire Rack ( www.tirerack.com ) and if you get a great
price have the tires shipped to an address in Nevada. No state tax, no
EPA fees and the shipping cost shouldn't be more than $10 or so per tire.

It worked for me!

BTW, Greg, I show a Greg Weber from Michigan has a GMC registered but
none from California. Can you send me your coach's data? If you sent it
previously, it may have been among those that was lost.

Thanks!

Yeah, Greg, ship them to me. I can always use them.

I found some Goodyear P245/75/R16 Wranglers that were new truck take-offs
for $100 each--list is $129. Also available in P225s. Sam's has Michelins
even cheaper, but of course that's the bottom of the barrel since they got
in bed with Sears.

Before the flames get too high, the P245s have a good 1/4" clearance to the
bags & swing arms. I am only grossing 8500# & the power & mileage are just
fine in my case. Rides soft & smooth on 50 PSI. Runs 70 MPH at indicated
55. Probably not feasible for MH applications, though. That's what I did.
