Check to see if there are extra pin switches, like the ones that turn the
dome lights on and off in your car, on the hood hatches or other door ways.
These may be rusted and shorting the system out, giving the false alarm. I
had this happen in an old Mustang I bought. Took me weeks to figure this one
out, but it was a defective pin under the hood. Good luck, Tony
