Airbag Replacement

Greetings all...

I believe it's time to replace the airbags in my 78 Royale & I'm asking which is the best & most cost effective way to go if I want to keep the
coach's original Electro-level II system & airbag configuration. I've seen online, different set ups for replacing the original single Firestone bags.
There is an Al Ferrer's system that on the Applied's site looks like a modified 2 bag set up that fits within the single bag spacing. I saw a Youtube
video of a Hensley bag that has what looks like a smaller bag with large cylindrical adapters that fill in the area on either side of the bag so it
will fill the same space as the original (but I haven't been able to find anywhere to purchase these), and I've seen the what looks like a larger bag
with large flat powder coated adapters that will fit if you have standard 225X75X16 tires as I have on the coach. Anyone have any of these on your
coach, or any other suggestions?

Thanks,

I believe that there are two ways you can successfully proceed. If money
invested is no problem, use the quadra-bag system. If cost is a
consideration in your choices, then look at the Sully bag system. Both are
trouble free, replacement bags are readily available nearly anywhere we
drive the coaches. You won't go wrong with either system. I have installed
several of both systems. No problems.

Does anyone know of any review's on Alex Ferera's new air bag system? I searched but I couldn't find anything. Any comparisons between it and the
Sully system? Advantages? Disadvantages?

We are also using the "Sully System". An easy system to install....direct replacement. Some have said that there is a difference in ride between the
stock system and the Sully system....softer ride, more sway. But I have noticed NO difference in ride or sway between them. What I like about the
Sully system is the lower system pressure at stock height...(about 40-45lbs). So it is not as prone to leaks and the pump does not have to work as
hard. JWID

We stock and sell all these, so I can tell you up front, that for the
money, the Alex System is great for the money.
It is lot more stable than our MONO/ SULLY unit.
The Quadra bag System is the most stable unit with other features, but
expensive.
Our Mono Bag System comes complete with Firestone bag and fittings while
the Sully , you need to acquire the bags from another source.

Jim,

You do not sell the Sullybilt rear suspension kit and i would appreciate it
if you would stop stating that you do. You sell your version of a kit which
utelizes the same airbag as the Sullybilt.

So there it is. Again.

Todd,

Jim clearly calls it 'Our Mono Bag system' The Word Sully is only used as a reference.

He states "same as sully bag" in his advertising. That is misleading.

One advantage of the SullyBuilt system IS ability to purchase the bags locally, thus avoiding shipping charges there. A second advantage is that Sully ships the hardware for each side separately in a USPS "If it fits, it ships" low cost box! Sully installed my system (free!) as a demo at the previous Shawnee convention. He offered to
bring up to 5 sets of bags with him to Shawnee. He did mine in the exhibition hall and I helped with the installation on Kim's coach in the camping area. Slicker than snot on a greased doorknob!
