I rebuilt my Dana Air conmpressor system including the air tank, replaced
the safety valve, installed pressure gauge and bought a new brass check
valve from Gateway (about $29). Rechecked it today after not using it for
several weeks, (it is being worked on prior to takin ga trip) and found that
the check valve was leaking badly. Disassembled it and found nothing
apparently wrong with it except it will not hold pressure. Anyone else have
this kind of problem with Gateways valves?

Anybody got specs on a better replacement. I know Cinnabar has a stainless
steel check valve, air separator, etc. Is it any good?

I bought the one from Cinnibar along with new fittings. Put them in
just last week so I cant tell if they will last, but the quality of the
check valve and etc was excellent.
