I contacted the company - 1-800-635-2150 and talked to Andy. He doesn't
think that his machine will put out enough pressure or smoke to find leaks
in our shells.
It is designed to find leaks in the exhaust system and vacuum lines,
without the engine running. It only puts out about 1/2 lb of pressure,
runs on 12 v and costs $995.00, down from the regular price of $1200.
Andy doesn't think that the smoke that this machine puts out would hurt
our interiors, but I can just immagine my wife saying "Go ahead, and fill
my GMC with smoke so you might find some leaks, and when you are thru,
let's change all of the upholstery and shades (etc, etc)" A thousand
bucks will buy a lot of soapy water.
