Air Bag Shields

.......... I only wish that I had also purchased the air
bag shields at the same time. I haven't needed
them, but....

What do the air bag shields do?

Do they shield the bags from the sun for those of
us who do not have "T" skirts?

Gary

They do not shield from the sun. They protect the ends of the bag from
being abraded by road detritus. They may also protect the bag in the event
of a tire failure. I purchased a set from Jim when I ordered the SS water
and air tanks - excellent craftsmanship on all of his products.

They basically protect the air bag from the effects of flailing steel
tire belts when you have a blow out..Hopefully!
