well the hours are counting down - I have 99% of the packing done - the
trailer is loaded and locked - I plan to leave at sunrise tomorrow
the route is Austin, Ft Worth, Denver, Cheyenne, Casper, Boseman, Great
Falls, then Calgary - 8th thru 12th at Spruce Meadows horse show -
anyone in the area it is the Camtech booth aisle 500 in the main exhibit
hall - I have an appointment at Standens to get alignment checked while
in Calgary - may get a couple tires also
then head to Regina for R&R with VE5HQ on 13th and 14th - then south to
Minot, Sioux Falls, Omaha, Kansas City, to Columbia Missouri for
minihorse national show from 17th to 24th - look for the MidAmerica
booth in the main exhibit hall - then back to Austin
I am going to attempt to make the trip with a scarred rotor - I have a
bearing remover tool ordered so I can work on the rotors when I get back
home - best price seems to be Cinibar ($84) plus bearing kit ($92) -
they will also do the labor if I ship the units to them - wish me luck!
I have the Black List printed out just in case
I will keep track of my mileage and see how I do with 403 pulling 2500#
trailer over all types of terrain - I plan to cruise at about 55 mph and
look for cheap 87 octane gas - I know I will use some oil cause it uses
a quart every 4-500 miles - my fan clutch is running all the time - it
is frozen in on position - I have a hayden replacement if I need it
for hams I will be around 3791, 7240, 7245, and 14180 - listen for K0YL
(my sister) who will be my main contact if you cant hear me WA0REE
