OK Gang,

You all know the old saying:
Garbage In = Garbage Out.

So if you all want me to update the map, I need to
ask you use the form at:

http://www.GMCmart.com/gasoline_survey.htm

I will then have the data in a usable format and
it will make more sense.

I need to get at least 30 responses, so if you are
interested - fill out the form. Only 6 fields.

Mike - your brand name field seems to only take digits. Is that
where you want the price? Is it mislabeled?

For those that don't know their state tax rate go to http://www.api.org/
This is the American Petroleum Instititute site. They have some
excellent tables that show gasoline price history and tax info. The
taxes range from Conn. with a total of 55.6 cents (includes the 18.4
cent Federal) to Alaska with 26.4 cents (18.4 Fed and 8 state).

You may want to download the file biggas.pdf from that site. It give
great historical data. Interesting to note that the 1999 price of
1.22 was the second lowest in history when adjusted for inflation.
1918 was the highest at $3.00 per gallon. Gasoline prices have
always gone down from 1918 to 1999. Only the taxes have gone up.
