78 Royale

Bought this coach locally from a wonderful lady. Her husband passed and the coach needed a new home. It is in wonderful condition and I have been working out the kinks! It is a rear bath 26 foot, he replaced all the glass, new headers, disc brakes, custom window treatments, led's and on. I put on a. Ferrara bag and an Airlift wireless system.

My coach has rear glass in a rear bath unit. Why would anyone waste the time to put this giant window in a bath. I understand these units were retrofitted so the units came out the same. Has anyone made a fiberglass replacement for this window? Maybe one that had some ventilation? An escape hatch? Thanks

WELCOME to the forum.
I too have a Rear Bath Royale (78') The large rear window does not bother me as I have dark tinted windows AND I use an external screen when parked - can see out - no one can see in.

Besides - that rear window is an emergency exit of sorts - if you look close at the top center (from the inside) - you will see a metal ring, if you pull it, you can push the window out

$34,500 in 1978 would be $154,000 in today's dollars. I think they underpriced these considering how a $150,000 coach is built today.

Agree totally!! I had a Class A Tiffen for a few years. Was fun but no where near the quality. My cabinets in my GMC still look new.

I dont have the original bill of sale, but I do have paperwork for it's sale in 1983 for $44k
