Around 2012 this Coach was all original and still being use regularly by a well known GMCer in Florida. It was purchased and taken to the Coop for a complete renovation.
They did just about every upgrade being done at that time, from modern headlights to a macerator and a new ZipDee awning.
ALso included; solid surface counters, complete re-uphostery, dash upgrade, etc.
Down below they did disk brakes, action arm system, quad-bag upgrade, and one ton front end.
The COOP and the new owner agreed the engine was sound with around 75,000 miles so it didn't get any significant attention.
It was delivered to North Carolina in 2013. The new owner was unable to use the coach and it languished until I got in the summer of 2020.
I got it running and I had all the systems working perfectly while I was quarantined in the GMC in November 2020.
All the appliances, fridge, water heater, furnace and roof air, were new in 2012 and have had almost no use.
I had the trans rebuilt in 2021 (not a Manny tranny but a reliable shop in Norfolk endorsed by other GMCers)
There is no generator. THe COOP tried an experimental Dometic suitcase genset and that turned out to be junk. (can't win 'em all Jim)
THere is damage to the wood floor by the door. The Alcoas will need a lot of elbow grease to bring back.
I was fully committed to getting this coach on the road and traveling with my family. But the summer of 2022 I acquired a Sprinter van as a daily driver and decided a van conversion was a better fir for the way we travel. (we've put 50,000 miles on the van with two cross-country trips)
So now It's time to give the GMC a new and proper home.
The price listed is very negotiable and is for the coach running well and with reliable tires. It's been a year since i drove it but i have started it a few times. It does not start at the moment but I'm sure I'll figure it out. The tires are 11 years old and obviously need to be replaced.
I have not put power to it and rechecked all the systems but I will in the coming days.
I'm in Easter NC zip 27944
