This has been an interesting thread, particularly due to peoples different
experiences with one vendor-

I'm curious about what longevity people are getting from the 455's and what
is the usual modes of faulure. Those 455's are awfully reliable in the cars,
there doesn't really seem to be a upper limit on longevity. I would expect
similar service in the GMC, after all, few GMC's get operated in bad weather
or short trips or other circumstances that cause much of the wear and tear
on passenger car engines. This would somewhat make up for the slightly more
severe wear from the extra weight.

What goes wrong?

IMO lack of use is the biggest enemy. The GMCers that seem to have the
fewest problems are also those that use their coaches on a regular basis.
