The GMC is not a boat, it has some fiberglass sections but the largest areas are aluminum.

Your '77 was originally painted with DuPont Imron single stage urethane. It is very durable paint and generally "restores" easily with regular automotive cleaner/wax.

My paint was just dull before spending a whole Saturday using the Griots with my orbital polisher

Wow Tom, your coach looks great! Is that the original paint!

ours looks good, however I’m hoping to restore some of the fading that 4o+ years has acquired.

thank you for the tip, I had a feeling I was going on the wrong direction.
