3000 RPMs at 70- a little much, 3.7 final drive ?

Johnny,
Being an Degreed Aeronautical engineer meas little.
The face area and length has everything to do with wind drag,
Ask a search engine.

I'm not a degreed aeronautical engineer, no idea how that got into the discussion. (Actually, I'm not a degreed anything). I just wondered when we
get past about 20 feet, how three feet in length would make a difference is all. I still do:)

I forgive them all, save those who hurt the dogs. They must answer to me in hell

I learned that from a practical Aeronautical Engineer that reviewed a basic
rule we touched in college, but did not remember.
Johnny, I was in no way trying to be a smart ass.
I think there are basic aeronautical books that explain why the longer body
with same frontal area will produce less drag.
That was why we chose the 26 foot for the Speed record at Bonneville Salt
Flats.
