I will add my .02c. Had a 3.5 installed when my engine was rebuilt,
and the transmission was out. I have gone through three
thrasmissions and had the gears for the 3.5 removed after the third
tranny. I now have the standard trans, plus the cinnibar 3.42. I
would check with your mechanic and/or Bob Lamy or Darrell Winterfelt.
They both like this combination.
