I bought a three way Norcold and set it on auto. Normally it goes between
110VAC and gas. one of time I had it go to 12VDC is when we have taken a
ferry and everybody must shut off the gas before loading. Coming back
from Alaska, Our coach spent three days in the hold. At another time we
left it at an airport for five days. The parking lot operator wanted all
gas shut off. The 12VDC worked fine both times.
